The University Program directed to Majors - UMA the Salle owns different signs from identity that underlie to their contents and methodology, and is characterized by:

1. To deepen in the areas of study of the Humanities and Social Sciences (History, Literature, Anthropology and Psychology) with an interdisciplinary approach.
2. To structure itself of versatile way, since the formative supply contains monographic and short courses on diverse subjects of the present time (bioethics, promotion of the health, study of the religions, cinematographic language).
3. To offer to the student the possibility of attending an optative additional subject between all the supply of matters of the center.
4. To develop other activities of complementary character (exhibitions, theaters, visit cities).

On the other hand, the classrooms welcome reduced groups of students (20-25 people), which allows to develop customized didactic methodologies, besides:

1. To harness the personal resources of the student. In this sense, all the subjects offer a rigorous analysis of the diverse subjects in connection with the vital experience of the pupils.
2. To enable in the use of the new technologies.
3. To foment the analysis and the reflection of the contents of the program in connection with present time subjects.
4. To develop to resources for the documentation and investigation on interest subjects.

These objectives and methodology are contextualized in a basic philosophy, that pleads for positive a social image of the people majors and the harnessed intergenerational dialog through the active participation of the students in the dynamics of the center.

Description of matters developed in the three years of duration of the program:

• History and Art from an interdisciplinary vision
It offers an integral vision of the History of Spain and its expression in the Art through origin and evolution of Europe.
• Literature and Life
It analyzes of exhaustive form texts of the Renaissance, century XX and present, connecting the resources and intention of the author with the experience lived on the student.
• Social and cultural anthropology
It deepens in the concept of culture and the process of socialization of the human being, at the same time, who approaches present time subjects (aging of the population, sort and culture and multiculturalismo).
• Psychology and Health
It implies the study of the psychology applied from the perspective of: study of the vital cycle, the psychopathology versus positive psychology and emotional abilities in the boarding of daily problems.
