Temperature Regulation (Intro)
Temperature regulation is very important to the body, in order for the enzymes in the body to be in tip top condition for the body’s processes. Thus, temperature of the body has to be maintained at about 37oC. The deep body temperature is affected by the environmental temperature in which it is influcenced by activity/exercise, fever, intake of food like chili peppers and alcohol. The core body temperature is regulated by a negative feedback system, controlled by the hypothalamus.
