Inside the Eye
The eyeball’s speherical shape is due to the liquids that are inside it which holds its shape. These liquids are called the humours and there are 2 types of which, the aqueous humour(watery liquid in the front chamber of the eye) and the vitreous humour(thicker jelly0like fluid which takes up the centre of the eye). Both of which are clear liquids to allow light to pass through to the back of the eye, the retina without losing its brightness. The humours are separated from each other by a small curved disc, the lens. It is elastic and transparent. The eye uses it to focus to have an image. It is just behind the pupil and is held in place by a special ring of tiny ligaments.
