The daily accomplishment of exercise, next to the importance of maintaining a correct nutrition, is determining to contribute to that the people majors have a healthful aging that allows them to maintain a good physical and mental state. This one has been the main conclusion obtained during a symposium organized by the Spanish Society of Nutrición Comunitaria (SENC).

Concretely, according to it has indicated the professor of the Faculty of Sciences of the Physical Activity and of Deport of the Polytechnical University of Madrid, Marcela González-Gross, “the physical activity it has a positive impact in the prevention and treatment of diseases like the osteoporosis or the obesity, and in the mental well-being and appetite of the people majors. In addition, the active people are in one better physical form, because they have more force, more flexibility and one better coordination�.
