The Community of Madrid will spend east year more than two million Euros to the remodeling of the network of centers of majors which it has the regional Government. In this sense, a work plan is being developed to improve the facilities of these centers, to which a 11 percent has been destined more than the budgeted thing in 2009.

The adviser of Family and Social Subjects, Engracia Noble, has visited the center of majors Alonso Heredia, where already the works of multipurpose repair of the hall have finalized, the reform of the kitchen, the installation of new air conditioning, change of the facilities as well as the provision of furniture. “The works in the centers of majors are being undertaken with the aim of improving the quality in their facilities and so that the users can enjoy their habitual center and develop their activities with the best guarantees�, it has indicated the person in charge regional.

The reform workings carry out with the maximum security and protection of the users. For this reason, from the Regional Service of Social welfare, pertaining to the Council of Family and Social Subjects, a concerted effort has been realized to design the works without coming to the closing of the centers so that the users could go to the factories and the activities for the prevention of the dependancy at which they are aimed.
