The intense political and social debate that has been generated in the last months around the imminent reform of the public system of pensions and the doubts more and more generalized on the future viability of the Social Security has caused that is increased the percentage of Spaniards which they save for his retirement, according to reflect the last data of the Caser Observatory Pensions in his third edition.
This way, the tendency to the loss detected in previous years is broken and it is shown that the fear not to have a pension at some future date begins to pierce in serious between the Spaniards. Concretely, the percentage of economizers with respect to 2009 has increased from 34.90% to 40.80%. In addition, the average age of low beginning of saving until the 34 years, with an average quantity of annual saving of 3,350 Euros.
 On the other hand, the survey ones are very critics with the present quantity of the public pensions, 87.30% think that they are low or very low. Also, one of each six Spaniards (15.20%) creates the public system of pensions “will disappear�.  As far as the measures that the Government has put on the table to reform the system of pensions, only 6% of the Spaniards are in favor of delaying the legal age of retirement to the 67 years. For the survey ones, the logical age of retirement would be placed around the 64 years and are against any measurement that supposes a cut in the pensions.  Finally, more than half of the Spaniards (53.70%) it thinks that the responsibility to guarantee that the people majors have a worthy pension and sufficient is as much of the State as of the individuals, in a proportion of 6.38 (Been) to 3.63 (individual).
